The fabled southern Italian isle of Ischia is home to the Covo dei Borboni, an elegant, white-washed villa surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the sea, which will again be the exclusive venue for our Two Piano & Four-Hand Piano Workshop from Wednesday May the 2nd to Friday May the 4th , and from Saturday May the 5th to Friday May the 11th , for Chamber Music Workshop.
Two Piano & Four-Hand Piano Workshop is open to only 9 pianists and will focus on the great two piano and piano four-hand repertoire.
Pianists also taking the Chamber Music Workshop (5-11 May, 2012) will work on a wider range of two piano and four-hand piano chamber music and Orchestral repertoire.
Bruno Canino, a worldwide famous pianist, known as one of the most experienced international chamber music teacher and acclaimed performer, will be, with pianist and Artistic Director Aldo de Vero, our contagiously enthusiastic coach.

Ischia Chamber Music Workshop offers a unique week: playing, studying and enjoying quality, professionally-coached Chamber Music. This year's workshop is privileged to have engaged Judith Glyde, cello, Bruno Canino, piano, David Yang, viola, the Swarthmore String Quartet, piano; Giuseppe Carannante, conductor and clarinet, Keith Bowen, clarinet, and artistic director Aldo de Vero, piano, as resident coaches. Open to strings, woodwinds, brass, and piano players.
The workshop welcomes players of all levels although the majority tend to be intermediate and advanced. Participants should have a command of the instrument adequate for participating in chamber music and be able to read music comfortably.
Three Orchestral readings and a performance is a tradition of our Workshop.
The best advanced pre-formed or in-house formed group could be eligible to perform, along with the Coaches and other performers, in the "Friends of the Ischia Chamber Music Festival", an International Chamber Music Feast that will take place in Naples from May 12th to May 14th 2012.
